Quick summary
  • Clinical safety documents are ordinary Assuric documents: you edit, approve and publish them like any other.
  • A document must be approved before it can go on your Trust Centre.
  • Approving a new version moves the places you leave ticked under Republish options, such as your Trust Centre resource, to the new version.
The hazard log is approved and published separately: see Approve and version your hazard log and Share and publish your hazard log.

Manage clinical documents

Approvals and version control

To have your clinical safety officer (CSO) approve each version of a controlled document, add the CSO role under Must approve. See Who reviews and approves.

Publish to your Trust Centre

Only an approved document can go on your Trust Centre, and you publish one approved version of it, so editing the draft changes nothing customers see. Once a document is on your Trust Centre:
  • Approve a new version with the Trust Centre resource ticked under Republish options and the resource moves to it.
  • To control who can see a published document, see Access requests and who can see what.

Controlled documents

The formal review and approval cycle, with required reviewers and approvers.

Notify stakeholders of updates

Republish a new version on your Trust Centre and tell the people who hold it.
