Quick summary
  • You offboard someone from their sheet on the People tab to block their sign-in to the workspace and the staff portal.
  • Offboarding takes effect immediately and has no undo, so bringing someone back means inviting them again.
  • Add a leaver to the Offboard group first, so an Admin can complete their offboarding checklist before you remove their access.

Before you remove them

Adding someone to the Offboard group assigns them its offboarding checklist, so work through it before you remove their access. It’s an Administrative checklist, so an Admin completes it for them and the leaver never sees it on their portal.

Confirm

Assuric asks “Are you absolutely sure?” Click Remove.

The confirmation. Remove takes their access away straight away.

There’s no undo. Their sheet then says to “Create a new invite to re-add them”, so bringing someone back means inviting them again.

What happens after

Their record stays, but the People tab hides people who’ve left until you tick Removed in the Account Status filter.
What we recommendReassign what they own before you offboard them, as roles and document assignments don’t move by themselves. Roles & Groups on their sheet shows what to hand over.
