Quick summary
  • A product-specific task is done separately for each product it applies to, so every product gets its own copy.
  • Assuric suggests a framework’s product-specific tasks when you map it to a product, and you can add any you skipped later from the framework’s page.
  • Removing a product can’t be undone, and all its tasks are selected for deletion by default.

What a product-specific task is

Assuric enables a framework once for your workspace, but some of its tasks are done once for each product. Under DCB0129, for example, each product needs its own hazard log and clinical safety case report. Those are product-specific tasks. Each product’s copy has the product’s name added to the end of the title: Hazard log (HL) completed and maintained becomes Hazard log (HL) completed and maintained - Procedure Consent for a product called Procedure Consent. All of them sit in the Product category.

Where they come from

When you add a product and map frameworks to it, Assuric suggests that framework’s product tasks. Add them there, or skip and add them later from the framework’s page. The product’s record on the Products page also lists them under each mapped framework.

Add the tasks a product is missing

1

Show the missing tasks

From Frameworks, open a framework with product tasks, such as DCB0129, and expand the Product category on its Tasks tab. Show missing tasks lists every Assuric task not yet added to a product, grouped by product.
The Show missing tasks list on the DCB0129 framework page, with one product expanded showing its missing tasks, an Add button on each row, and an Add all button

Missing tasks on DCB0129, grouped by product. 1 Each task's own Add button. 2 Add all, which adds every missing task for that product in one go.

2

Add them

Expand a product, then click Add next to a task, or Add all for every one listed for that product.

When you remove a product

Removing a product from its record on the Products page opens a confirmation listing every task associated with it. They’re all selected for deletion by default, so deselect any you want to keep, then confirm.
Removing a product can’t be undone, and neither can deleting the tasks that go with it. Check the task list in the confirmation before you click Remove.
