Quick summary
  • Exporting gives you an Excel file of your incident log, for all dates or a range.
  • The export matches the screen: set filters, sorting and columns first, and show archived incidents if needed.
  • Incidents have no published or versioned copy, so exporting is how you get one.

Export the log

1

Set up the view

Open Clinical Safety → Incidents or Privacy & Security → Incidents, then set your filters, search, sorting and columns: the export matches the screen.
2

Click Export

Click … at the right of the toolbar, then Export to open the Export to spreadsheet dialog.
The incidents toolbar with the Options menu open, showing Export

The Options menu on the incidents page, with Export.

3

Export the file

For one period, click Filter by date range (optional) and pick the dates. Then click Export All to download an Excel copy: incidents have no published or versioned copy.
In the Security view, you can include Mapped Risks as a column.

What to check before you export

  • Filters: archived incidents drop out, so select Archived if you need them. Reset clears every filter.
  • Columns: open View to turn on the columns you need, such as RCA Evidence.
