# What is Assuric

> What Assuric is for, how it fits your compliance work together, and where to start in these docs.

<Note>
  **Quick summary**

  * Assuric is the all-in-one compliance platform built for digital health: NHS frameworks, clinical safety, eQMS, information security and data protection, [CQC](/assuric-overview/glossary#abbreviations), in one system.
  * Evidence is mapped across every framework, so work done once counts everywhere it applies.
  * We help you understand what you need, how to do it, and how to evidence it.

## What Assuric helps you do

Everything in Assuric follows three steps: understand what's needed, do the work, and prove it's done.

* **Understand.** Every framework is broken down into its individual requirements, written word for word from the original standard, so you always know exactly what's being asked and where it comes from.
* **Do.** Every requirement is broken down into small, practical tasks that show you exactly how to meet it. One task can count towards several frameworks at once, so you never do the same work twice.
* **Prove.** As you work through your tasks, the documents and files you create become the evidence that each requirement is met. Once approved, you can publish them on your Trust Centre to show customers you're compliant.

See [Frameworks](/frameworks/key-capabilities) and [Tasks](/tasks/key-capabilities) for how requirements and tasks work.

## Built for digital health compliance

Assuric covers 14 frameworks that digital health companies and healthcare providers are most often asked for. Some, like [DTAC](/assuric-overview/glossary#abbreviations), are done once for each product you ship. Others, like Cyber Essentials, are done once for your organisation. See [Frameworks: Overview](/frameworks/key-capabilities#the-frameworks-by-area) for the full list.

Assuric groups this work into four Areas:

* **Clinical Safety.** Clinical hazards, safety controls, and clinical risk management.
* **Privacy & Security.** Information security, data protection, and the assets and data processing behind them.
* **Quality.** Your electronic quality management system: procedures, records and checks across the product lifecycle.
* **Clinical Governance.** Clinical oversight, accountability, and the regulations you're assessed against as a care provider.

## Why teams use Assuric

* **Time and money.** Reduce the time and cost of compliance by cutting out duplication. Most of the evidence you need is already documented and mapped across frameworks.
* **Built for digital health.** Built by NHS doctors, certified clinical safety officers, technology experts and software as a medical device regulatory experts.
